The award, which was first bestowed upon his mother, Mrs. Estée Lauder, in 1962, recognizes her as one of the first non-fashion designers to receive such an honor. It features actress Natasha Lyonne, who plays cab driver to some of fashion’s most beloved names as they come and go including Christopher John Rogers, Carolina Herrera’s Wes Gordon, Willy Chavarria accompanied by Dara Allen, and Bergdorf Goodman’s own Linda Fargo. The film concludes at the city’s most fashionable destination, Bergdorf Goodman, where one can step through the legendary doors and become the toast of the town. Last night, Bergdorf Goodman unveiled their 2024 holiday initiative, “Toast of the Town.” Inspired by the eternal glamour of NYC, the home of Bergdorf Goodman for nearly two centuries, the theme will be brought to life through in-store and digital activations. The initiative was kicked off with last night’s window unveilings, surprising and delighting customers with a curated aesthetic developed by the iconic luxury retailer’s visionary design team. A sense of celebration was in the air last night, one that’s sure to continue throughout the holiday season.
