🔒 Cybersecurity Awareness Month 🧑💻 We all know weak passwords can get you into trouble 🥸 Here’s what can help protect your accounts: 1️⃣ Make your passwords long (we recommend at least 16 characters) 2️⃣ Use random string of letters (caps & lower case), numbers, and special characters. You can create a memorable passphrase of 5-7 unrelated words (ex: RacoonsDanceHappyEatsShoes) 3️⃣ Make them unique by creating different passwords for different accounts. Use a password manager like (1Pass) to remember them. A password manager can create, store, and autofill passwords for your accounts. Here's your sign to have cybersecurity training at work.

🔒 Cybersecurity Awareness Month 🧑💻 Phishing is on the rise 🎣 and here are some tips to protect yourself 🔍 Recognize the patterns - Common use of “urgent” in the message(s) - Requesting personal & financial information - File attachments or random URL links - Email address does not match the sender’s profile - Poor grammar 🗂️ File a report - Report suspicious emails to the spam feature - Alert your organization/IT team 🗑️ Do not acknowledge - Do not reply or click on any attachments - Just delete

Did you know that if you are on 1Password's Business Plan at work, you have access to 1Password for Families at no extra cost? My wife and I use it in our day to day life and it has been an absolute game changer in leveling up my digital security. No more texts of "What's the Netflix password again?" 🤔 I'll post a link in my comments on more information about it. Lastly - I'll also leave you with some tips and tricks we have internally at Network Right on how to effectively use 1Password at your business as well as at home. Happy National Cybersecurity Awareness Month, folks!
