About us
The Neurology Service Line is a regional and international destination for neurological care, committed to improving patient outcomes and driving innovation. Patients from all over the world can receive premier treatments for a wide spectrum of neurological disorders from renowned experts in the field. Our Neurology program contains 16 stroke certified centers. Four have been designated Comprehensive Stroke Centers by the Joint Commission, one Thrombectomy-Capable Center and eleven Primary Stroke Centers. Three of our hospitals have Level 4-NAEC accreditation, with one additional receiving Level 3-NAEC accreditation. Additionally, our one-of-a-kind Parkinson’s rehab program in Glen Cove, NY received Joint Commission accreditation earlier this year.
