NBA Board Spotlight BJ North is the executive vice president and chief banking officer of Plumas Bank – one of top-performing community banks in the nation with a total asset size exceeding $1.6 billion. She oversees branch operations, commercial lending, marketing, and business development to impact communities across Northern Nevada and Northeastern California. As immediate past chair of the Nevada Bankers Association, she encourages national legislation to benefit local business economies. North advocates for workforce development, arts and education, women in leadership, and economic development through her work on numerous boards and state and county committees. Her lifelong community commitment was recognized with the prestigious Jefferson Award for public volunteerism.

NBA Board Spotlight Meet Spencer Hafen, president and CEO of Nevada Bank and Trust. A lifelong Nevadan, he has dedicated his career to serving his community. With over a decade of experience at Nevada Bank and Trust, Hafen has a deep understanding of the financial needs of Nevadans. Prior to joining the bank, he owned a consulting firm and held several public service roles, including Lincoln County Commissioner and trustee of Gov. C. Dills Medical Center.
