NHC MEMBER JOB POSTING: Nevada Rural Housing Authority is seeking an Associate Director of Community Development and an HCV Program Inspection Specialist. The Associate Director of Community Development is responsible for providing high-level support to the Director of Community Development in all department activities including leadership, project management, and stakeholder relations. The position acts as the direct supervisor to assigned department staff, including providing oversight and support to management level staff in the supervision of their assigned staff. The HCV Program Inspection Specialist provides support to the Rental Services Department by performing all functions related to inspections including monitoring and updated inspection department duties, scheduling and performing rental property inspections, and coordinating department activities. 🌟 Grateful and Inspired in D.C. 🌟 Last week, I had the privilege of representing the Nevada Housing Coalition at the Fall State & Tribal Partner Convening hosted by NLIHC in Washington, D.C. It was incredible to connect with over 60 leaders from 26 partner organizations, NLIHC staff, and board members. Affordable housing changes lives, and the Village on Sage Street stands as a shining example of what collaboration can achieve. This innovative dorm-style community provides affordable, safe housing for low-income individuals in Reno, thanks to the combined efforts of public and private partners.
