Are you a local nonprofit or government agency looking for a funding opportunity? Great news! Clark County’s Outside Agency Grant applications will open Monday, January 13th for Fiscal Year 2025/2026. OAG is funded by County tax revenue and awarded to non-profits who have programs or projects that provide services and assistance that greatly benefit #ClarkCounty residents. This grant served as a lifeline for charitable organization, Foundation for Recovery, which used the funds to start a program during the COVID-19 pandemic that raised awareness, supported outreach, and provided resources to prevent overdoses in a time of isolation. We were honored to attend last week's groundbreaking of Fallon Homes I, the first #AffordableHousing development for the Fallon Paiute Shoshone Tribe in 30 years. This 22-unit project, being built by Pavilion Construction, will serve residents at or below 50% AMI. The Tribe has been working with Travois since 2022 to learn how to bring affordable housing to their community. #AffordableHousing #Collaboration #TribalHousing

NHC MEMBER JOB POSTING: Nevada Rural Housing Authority is seeking an Associate Director of Community Development and an HCV Program Inspection Specialist. The Associate Director of Community Development is responsible for providing high-level support to the Director of Community Development in all department activities including leadership, project management, and stakeholder relations. The position acts as the direct supervisor to assigned department staff, including providing oversight and support to management level staff in the supervision of their assigned staff. The HCV Program Inspection Specialist provides support to the Rental Services Department by performing all functions related to inspections including monitoring and updated inspection department duties, scheduling and performing rental property inspections, and coordinating department activities.
