Together with Hamid Rahnema and Na Yuan, we would like to invite undergraduate students from MSIs currently pursuing an Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Earth Science or related topic to apply for a summer internship program organized by ARPA-E and Experience ORISE. Selected candidates will have a chance to participate in research and development activities on generation of geologic hydrogen from ultramafic rocks at New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology. Last night at Sarracino Middle School’s Math and Science Night, we had the pleasure of introducing middle schoolers to New Mexico Tech’s Petroleum Engineering program! 🌍 Strengthening Ties with Ghana 🌍 In July, New Mexico Tech faculty, including Dr. Hamid Rahnema, visited Ghana to expand opportunities for undergraduate students to study at Tech. The team visited KNUST, UENR, and UMaT, presenting at a KNUST conference and hosting sessions for students. This visit aims to increase undergraduate enrollment from Ghana, building on the strong ties we already have with graduate students and faculty.
