Last night, at the Borough of West Reading, Tyler Weisman was honored with a commendation from Mayor Samantha Kaag for his compassion, leadership, and commitment to service. In the aftermath of the tragic explosion at the Palmer building in March of 2023, Tyler reached out to the borough with a heartfelt offer to assist in any way possible. His willingness to step forward, along with the support of New Castle Lawn & Landscape, became integral to the creation of a deeply meaningful project: a memorial garden to honor the victims and their families. This serene and beautiful space serves as a place for reflection, healing, and remembrance—a sanctuary where families can grieve, find comfort, and cherish the memories of their loved ones. We are profoundly humbled to have played a role in bringing this vision to life, and we extend our deepest respect to the families and community members forever impacted by this tragedy.

New Castle Lawn & Landscape recently had the privilege of joining other industry leaders in sharing insights with members of Leadership Berks, a program sponsored by the United Way of Berks County. This meaningful program facilitated engaging discussions between presenters and participants, focusing on the journey into nonprofit leadership and the valuable skills and knowledge that contribute to success. It’s always a rewarding experience to connect with the community and support personal and professional growth!

Did you know that our friends at John Paul II Center For Special Learning Inc. have their very own boutique that makes gift giving easy? It’s called Pendants With Purpose by John Paul II Center for Special Learning. We had so much fun this year brainstorming and working with the students to put these together. Their mission is near and dear to our hearts and this little project was extra meaningful this year💚🫶
We love it when one of our community partnerships blooms and grows! 🌱 Our friends at New Castle Lawn & Landscape asked Pendants With Purpose by John Paul II Center for Special Learning to create gift baskets for holiday gifts for their clients! Yesterday we delivered them. The baskets tuned out great, they were so excited with the results and we were happy to provide a #shoplocal alternative for our friends. #shopsmall

“The best way to spread holiday cheer is to sing loud for all to hear!🎶 Phil had the pleasure of playing “Elf” today by delivering a Christmas Tree donation to Randy McKinley for the annual Wyomissing Borough Lighting of The Greens taking place this Saturday, December 7th from 2PM-5PM! Santa will be there along with artisans offering holiday items and activities for the kids! Stop by if you are able!

Last night was *THE* star-studded event at Building 24! Imagine this: Andy Auchenbach and a lineup of A-list “celeb-bartenders” shaking, stirring, and spilling… all in the name of men’s health and raising funds for the McGlinn Cancer Center at Tower Health. Our celebrity bartenders pulled out all the stops—think signature cocktails, wild dance moves, and maybe even a few questionable drink combinations. Let’s just say that Andy’s “Auchen-Bash” special was… unforgettable. Thank you to everyone who came out and supported this fantastic cause. If you missed it, don’t worry—there’s always next year! #CheersToMen’sHealth #McGlinnCancerCenter #CelebrityBartending
