Don’t go solo on your #M&A #brand strategy. 55% of brands that skipped hiring external consultants reported low satisfaction with their M&A process. In contrast, 74% of companies that did use external consulting saw significantly higher satisfaction, according to our study with Ogilvy/Ogilvy Consulting. One survey participant from Workday shared that her brand team is involved in the acquisition process well before the deal closes. They manage change with a multifunctional team that includes leaders from the acquired brand and turn to external experts when internal alignment falls short.
