As we get ready to log off for Thanksgiving, we want to shout out our incredible team. Each and every one of you help make our mission possible. Thank you.  

Last week, members of our Utility Scale, Clean Energy Operations, and Workforce Development teams attended Junior Achievement of Greater Boston's JA Inspire event to speak to over fifteen hundred 8th-grade students.     At our booth, students discovered how solar panels use light to generate electricity. We also showcased our drone and thermal camera, explaining how we use them to diagnose and fix solar farm issues efficiently. Our team members shared details about their roles and their unique journeys to working in the clean energy industry, highlighting the various career paths and STEM opportunities that are available.     It was a great opportunity to help spark curiosity and share how renewable energy powers our future. 🌍☀️

Earlier this week, members of our C&I Team attended The Chicago Industrial Summit, a Bisnow event in the South Suburbs of Chicago.     At the event, Nexamp Vice President of Business Development, Brion Fitzpatrick, spoke on the Rising Trends in Commercial Real Estate panel. The discussion centered around the local community solar program and leasing space for rooftop solar installations in Illinois.

Nexamp co-founder Will Thompson will be participating in the Solar Ready Vets Mentorship Series this Wednesday, 11/20. In this series, military-connected individuals in leadership roles across the solar industry will share their “service to solar” career stories. Will and other veterans will lead discussions with service members and veterans interested in embarking on or advancing their solar careers. This event, presented by the Interstate Renewable Energy Council (IREC), includes a short panel discussion and a variety of breakout sessions that will help attendees identify their skills, chart a career pathway, build their solar network, and more.
