🚗🔋 Shaping the Future of Road Transport at RTR Conference 2025 🔋🚗 The RTR Conference 2025 has once again proven to be a key moment for advancing European road transport research and innovation! Discussions focused on the critical challenges of decarbonisation, digitalisation, circularity, and mobility—driving forward the EU’s vision for a sustainable transport sector. As part of this year’s agenda, NEXTBAT project took stage in the session on high-performance and safe-by-design battery systems for road transport applications. Mikko Pihlatie (VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland) presented how NEXTBAT is pushing the boundaries of battery safety and sustainability, addressing electrical, thermal, and mechanical safety to support Europe’s electrification and decarbonisation goals.
