  • We are thrilled to share another great event with the Seton Hall Marketing Club!   The Seton Hall Stillman School of Business Marketing Club, in partnership with NextUp NY, hosted an interactive session on navigating networking, relationship building, and breaking into the marketing industry! It was an amazing experience filled with insightful discussions and networking opportunities! 💡 The evening kicked off with a panel discussion where the panelists transported back to their “senior selves” and shared their journey to their first job, providing invaluable insights to the students. Special thanks to Quinn Costello, Angela Kim, MBA, and Bobby Baird for their insights. We then broke out into smaller groups where students had the opportunity to engage in one-on-one sessions with NextUp volunteers, covering topics such as: - Resumes - Elevator pitches - LinkedIn - And much more! We are incredibly grateful for our partnership with Seton Hall and look forward to continued collaboration! 🎉

  • During the week of September 16th, we had 20+ NextUp volunteers attend the Intro to Business class sections at Rutgers University - New Brunswick, to help the sophomore and junior transfer students prepare for their upcoming career fair. NextUp volunteers introduced themselves and provided guidance on how to construct and give the perfect elevator pitch! Members spoke to 500+ students across all sections, providing valuable insight and answering key questions on how to stand out among others in front of recruiters. This is the second time that NextUp has done this for Rutgers and they were very excited with our partnership! We already have plans to return for the spring semester cohort of freshmen. • Over 200 NextUp NY members gathered for the annual Liberty House Event. Members chatted over networking bingo, tried samples from sponsor companies, and dined while listening to an expert panel on the topic of disruption. Every panelist shared their unique journey, showcasing the power of personal stories in shaping professional success. We heard from leaders in supply chain, technology, sports, and organizational culture, each demonstrating how their individuality fuels their leadership. We thank our incredible panelists for their openness, vulnerability, and willingness to share their journeys. Your words left a lasting impact, inspiring both the event organizers and attendees alike. Your contributions made this event truly memorable, and we are deeply grateful for the lasting inspiration you’ve provided. And big thanks to our sponsors, Heineken, PepsiCo, Bodyarmor, Strong Roots, and JOH. #NextUpNewYork #NextUp #NextUpNYDisruption
