We support youth in Chernihiv and Sumy regions of Ukraine 🫶 Participants of the project "Psycho-emotional support for youth" have started implementing activities in their communities. Workers of the youth center in Chernihiv region independently conduct psycho-emotional support activities for young people under the "Better Learning Programe" developed by the Norwegian Refugee Council 🧠 🗣️ "Our events are eagerly attended by young people because we talk to them about complex topics in simple language. In addition, we use a variety of formats for presenting information, learning through interesting games and exercises," - comments the youth center psychologist. Additionally, as part of the project, the youth center offers group and individual counseling sessions with a psychologist, as well as art therapy. The project "Deeply: Psycho-emotional Support for Youth" is implemented by the NGO “Youth Platform” with the assistance of the Norwegian Refugee Council in Ukraine (NRC) in Ukraine and with the financial support of the German Federal Foreign Office.

The "Have Opinion" project is already at the finish line - project participants have implemented their initiatives 🙌 📌 "Have Opinion" is a project for youth councils from Volyn, Ternopil, Lviv and Khmelnytskyi regions to strengthen knowledge about youth participation in decision-making. Since June 2024, 10 youth councils have enriched their horizons with new knowledge and skills, attended several trainings, and worked hard in their communities. What initiatives have they implemented? ⚡️ The Youth Council at Pidhaitsi Village Council developed a project to raise the visibility of the problem of barrier-free accessibility in the community among young people aged 14-25 and local government representatives through educational events, information campaigns, and the creation of recommendations. ⚡️ The Chortkiv Youth Council implemented an initiative that involved regular art therapy sessions covering various forms of creative expression. ⚡️ The Youth Council at the Kopychynets City Council worked in the field of sports and implemented a project aimed at meeting the needs of young people in the basketball space and their further development in the field of basketball. ⚡️ The Youth Council at the Rava-Rus City Council continues to raise the level of knowledge and skills in implementing entrepreneurial initiatives through trainings, hackathons, and information campaigns. ⚡️The Youth Congress of the Zboriv City Council created a program to launch the process of implementing inclusive policies in three schools in the Zboriv community by training the teaching staff and student representatives to implement inclusive practices. This publication has been developed with the assistance of the Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) in Ukraine and with financial support from the Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation (NORAD).

The project "Startui: social entrepreneurship in a youth center," implemented by the NGO “Youth Platform”, has entered a new stage - the signing of grant agreements. Youth centers will receive grant funding of 15,000 euros to implement their business plans for establishing social entrepreneurship on the basis of a youth center. The agreements were signed by 7 youth centers: ⚡️Youth center "Open Lab Lviv" ⚡️Youth center "Hub 93" ⚡️“Plast Training Center” ⚡️Youth center of Dnipro ⚡️Vinnytsia regional youth center "Kvadrat" ⚡️Youth center "Idea City" ⚡️NGO "Ternopil Science Center" The team of the NGO “Youth Platform” and “School of ME” will support the youth centers in the process of implementing their business plans. Therefore, we will soon share the new successes of the youth centers 🙌 The project "EU4Youth Phase III - "Strengthening sustainability and social inclusion of young people" is implemented by the NGO "Youth Platform" and "School of ME" in partnership with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Lithuania and the Central Project Management Agency (CPVA) with the support of the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine and financial support from the European Union. #EU4Youth #StrongerTogether #СТАРТУЙ_СП

Результати перекладу New addition to the family of youth centers in Ukraine 🤩 Today the long-awaited opening of the Youth Center on the basis of Lutsk NTU took place 🙌 This is a special day for the Youth Platform team, for which we have been preparing for more than three months! The event brought together students, activists from the city of Lutsk, representatives of the authorities and partners. This day will be etched in the history of the university for a long time, because the Youth Center will become a new center of development, inspiration and cooperation for young people! The center will host educational events, trainings, master classes, and the space will also serve as a place for coworking and the realization of creative ideas 🌍✨ We are grateful to our partners UNICEF and LNTU for their support, trust and common desire to create a space where young people can develop, learn and bring their ideas to life 🤝 The event was supported by Lutsk National Technical University, NGO "Youth Platform" and UNICEF and financially supported by the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development of Germany (BMZ) through the state development bank KfW.

"Youth work: from theory to practice" 💡 The educational series with the participation of Zakhariy Tkachuk, Executive Director of the “Youth Platform” NGO, is available for viewing on the “DiiaOsvita” platform. What is the series about? 🔹 Principles and values of youth work, 🔹 tasks of youth workers, 🔹 how young people actually make changes. And also about the "pentagon of participation" and why it is important for democracy. And the "ladder of participation", which shows the level of youth involvement. The successful work of the organisation directly depends on the motivated team that works in it 🤝 The NGO “Youth Platform” employs people who strive to support young people and provide quality services for their development. Today, our organisation has 3 main departments and more than 40 employees involved in their work: 🔸 Department of work with youth councils. It is engaged in strengthening youth participation in communities through the tool of youth councils, their capacity, sustainability and development. 🔸 The work of the Granting Department in the organisation is aimed at providing grant support to youth centers 🔸 Department of work with youth centers. It is engaged in the creation and support of standardised, flexible youth centers to provide a variety of services for young people at the request of the youth, the community or the state.
