  • RetireReady NJ's Question & Answer Time ⌚ Q: What does it mean when my account has a status of Ineligible? A: Due to federal financial laws, we are required to verify the identity of a saver before accepting retirement contributions for them. Sometimes there are issues, perhaps caused by a change of address, a data entry error, or a short public records history. In those cases, we ask for additional documentation, such as a copy of a driver’s license or a Social Security card or a lease. Once we verify the information, we can change your status to Active and begin accepting contributions into your RetireReady NJ account.  Please call our Saver Assistance line at 844-553-4043 for assistance. #retirereadynj

  • Questions & Answers with RetireReady NJ ✏️📜🔎 Q: Do I need to get my employee’s permission before withholding for RetireReady NJ? A: No. After you registered with RetireReady NJ, we contacted your employees--by email when available, or by US mail. We provided them with instructions on how to customize their accounts. As an employer, you are required to follow the contribution instructions received from RetireReady NJ unless and until those instructions change. An employee can change their contribution amount or opt out through their on-line account, or by telephone or mail. Once the request is received, the change will process overnight and show in the employer portal the following day. If an employee misplaced their notification, or does not remember receiving it, they can call our Saver Assistance line at 844-553-4043. #retirereadynj
