About us
The New Jersey Office of Homeland Security and Preparedness (NJOHSP) leads and coordinates New Jersey’s counterterrorism, cybersecurity, and emergency preparedness efforts while building resiliency throughout the State. The office is led by Director Laurie Doran and comprised of four Divisions: Intelligence and Operations, Preparedness, New Jersey Cybersecurity and Integration Cell and Administration. The Office is primarily based out of Hamilton with a satellite office in Newark. The Office is designated as the State Administrative Agency (SAA) for all federal homeland security and preparedness funding. Governor Tahesha Way and New Jersey Attorney General Matthew Platkin joined Director Laurie Doran, NJOHSP, and the NJCCIC for an in-depth election security briefing, reinforcing the commitment of the Election Security Task Force and New Jersey to protect the integrity of our democratic processes.
