With the Consultant Training Program wrapping up this semester, we would like to look back on the sessions and what we’ve accomplished together. During CTP, students explored the consulting industry and developed key skills including delivering effective presentations, conducting case studies, and collaborating in team environments. We applaud everyone for their outstanding efforts in completing individual and team cases as well as mock interviews. NLCG’s NYC Trip - A Huge Success!  We’re excited to share how impactful and enriching our recent NLCG trip to NYC was! We kicked off the day with a fantastic alumni breakfast at Versa, connecting with Penn State alumni who shared invaluable insights and advice. Thank you to all the Penn State alumni who joined us and made the morning so meaningful! Next, our members had the privilege of visiting the PwC and KPMG US offices, where they got an inside look at top consulting firms in action. Special thanks to Mary Tang, CPA and Leah Wolf, CPA for making these visits possible and for their continued support of our group! We wrapped up the day with an incredible visit to the NYC Parks Department, where we heard from the Innovation and Performance Management Team about their work across all boroughs. A big thank you to Mark Focht , Deputy Commissioner and Chief Operating Officer for New York City Parks and Russell Antonucci, Assistant Commissioner, Innovation and Performance Management, for giving us a behind-the-scenes look at the internal consulting that keeps NYC parks running smoothly.
