Thank You, Los Angeles! What an incredible Opening Day for Joseph Beuys: In Defense of Nature at The Broad We’re deeply grateful to everyone who joined us for our Community Day Celebration and helped make it such a huge success. 💚 Together, we: 🌱 Sowed over 350 acorns—future magnificent coast live oaks that will stand tall for generations to come. 🌱 Expanded our Social Forest Community Project to over 350 areas across Los Angeles County, bringing more green spaces and resilience to our neighborhoods. 🌱 Your energy, participation, and commitment to art and nature inspire us to keep growing—literally and figuratively. 🌱 Thank you, Los Angeles, for coming together to celebrate the intersection of creativity and conservation. Let’s keep building a greener, stronger community! 📸 Photography by: @alexmichel.360 #JosephBeuys #InDefenseOfNature #TheBroad #SocialForest #CommunityDay #UrbanForests #ThankYouLA #NorthEastTrees #BringingNatureBack

We want to send a big thanks and shout-out to Enterprise for their long-standing support of our mission. Your dedicated volunteers brought the energy and enthusiasm we needed during this wet weekend. We love bringing nature back with you! 🌳
Rain in the forecast didn't stop some of our team from volunteering for North East Trees along side employees of Patagonia! We got our hands dirty and helped transplant 170 Sticky Monkey Flower plants at one of their nursery's to help with efforts to plant more native species in LA's green spaces. #iwork4em #conservation
