Today, in partnership with the North Central Texas Council of Governments, we hosted NTX 2050: Health Care and Trauma Services Forum. Thank you to our panelists, Barclay Berdan, CEO of Texas Health Resources, Dr. Fred Cerise, CEO of Parkland Health, Steve Love, President & CEO of DFW Hospital Council, Dr. Liz Fagan, EMS Director of Baylor Scott & White Health McKinney, Dr. Daniel D Guzman MD, Medical Director/Pediatric Emergency Medicine at Cook Children's Health Care System, and John Phillips, CEO of Methodist Healthcare System. You gave insight to all attendees on how to prepare our healthcare and trauma systems for 2050 with the rapid growth in NTX. Thank you to Dr. Cullum Clark of George W. Bush Presidential Center Bush Institute -SMU Economic Growth Initiative for moderating our panel.

This week we hosted Texas Congressman Tony Gonzales for a round table discussion with our members. Though not exactly a North Texan, we know Congressman Gonzales works to advocate for all of Texas in his work on the appropriations committee, and we were grateful to spend the morning discussing important regional issues.
