Congratulations to Matt, who recently started working at Stop & Shop in Reading! Matt wa referred to Northeast Arc's Supported Employment team by MassAbility.

Congratulations to the latest graduates of our Project Perk and Project Parcels programs! During the course of 6-month internships they learned all aspects of working in food service and retail, obtaining valuable skills that will help them as they seek competitive employment in the community. Pictured first is Jacob Coleman, alongside empoyment specialist Michael Blunt. Jacob worked at Breaking Grounds Cafe, doing things like pulling espresso, brewing coffee, and interacting with customers. He was always willing to help out, and did so with positivity and joy. Pictured second is Jacob Yellin alongside Blunt and Sadete Mandri, manager of Parcels. Sadete says that Jacob loved to learn new things, and particularly liked days where the store was busy so he could help customers. Not pictured is Hayden, who also worked at Parcels and graduated from the program.

Holiday Wishes Fulfilled 🎁 Employees of Fluid Industrial Associates, INC. (FIA), in Woburn filled every wish on Northeast Arc’s Residential Holiday Gift List with a donation of over 180 presents for residents in need. FIA President Andrew Pratt was introduced to NeArc by former Board Member John Holian and the team has been generously making the holidays bright for residents for over a decade. NeArc Development team members Susan Ring Brown and Damon Kruppa recently visited FIA to pick up the mountain of gifts.

Participants in the Journeys program recently gave back by "Feeding the Funnel" at Encore Boston Harbor. They joined other volunteers to pack tens of thousands of meals that will be distributed to families across our area this holiday season. Great work everyone!
