January is National Poverty Awareness Month. Did you know that 1 in 7 Louisianans faces food insecurity? Hunger impacts not just individuals and families but entire communities. It limits the ability of children to learn, adults to work, and families to thrive. Join us in working toward solutions to end hunger in our community. Together, we can make a difference. #FightHungerNorthshore www.northshorefoodbank.org

Food Drive Season is in Full Swing! Because of your support, Northshore Food Bank surpassed our yearly goal of receiving over 600,000 lbs. of donated food! We’re so grateful for our community and the incredible efforts pouring in to support Northshore Food Bank's mission. St. Peter Catholic School brought math to life with a food drive that added up to a big impact! Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church's Annual Food Drive, organized by our Board Chairman Joseph Chautin, brought in 3,760 pounds of food—thank you, Joe, and a special shoutout to his grandson Ellis, who helped load it all! Big thanks to Christ Episcopal Church's youth group , Capital One Bank, Resource Bank (Louisiana), Bayou Lacombe Cardinals, and others who have joined the season of giving to make a difference! We couldn’t do it without all of you! If your organization is interested in hosting a food drive, w would love to hear from you! https://lnkd.in/eV9WYyyH
