With Omar Farha, Snurr co-chairs the Trienens Institute Capture Pillar, one of Six Pillars of Decarbonization that leverage Northwestern strengths to accelerate the transition to a clean energy future. The Capture Pillar aims to create technologies and processes to remove carbon dioxide from industrial emissions and the air. Partnerships with industry are essential to translating the new technologies into practice. Craig Arnold spent eight-plus years as a senior environmental design engineer at Apple, where he developed lifecycle assessment models for key manufacturing processes.
