About us
Novus Nexus provides software and services to support Simulation-Based Design via CAE abstract modeling with current emphasis on CFD applications. The software products and services from Novus NexusTM, enable its customers to efficiently perform CFD analysis as an integral part of the their product development process . Novus Nexus’ unique approach of Abstract Modeling enables manufacturing companies to accelerate the product design & development in early stages. Our software introduces Simulation Based Design principles which enable repeated simulations through automated procedures. The abstract modeling tool for CFD, FluidConnection based on Simmetrix’s Simulation Based Design technology allows definition of the CFD problem independent of underlying geometry, automated mesh generation with boundary layer and export of ready to run simulation models for AcuSolve and Fluent. Abstract Modeling enables experts to define the CFD problem and develop best fit process for simulation. This predefined process setup by experts can then efficiently be used by relatively non-expert resources.

CAENexus
Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE) Software
Our innovative CAENexus solution suite represents a novel approach to CAE pre-processing addressing two main objectives: First, make every simulation set-up re-usable, independent of geometry. Second, robustly automate the CAD-to-solver process. What makes this possible in an easy, fast, and intuitive way is Abstract Modeling. Abstract models provide for simulation parameters to be assigned to placeholders, instead of manually applying those parameters to every single geometry, CAD or mesh. The resulting automation is more reliable than other approaches because it is independent of individual geometry topologies and does not need CAD conversions; meshes are generated on the original CAD models using the native CAD system for geometry interrogations. Novus Nexus software is currently available as FluidNexus for CFD specific applications, FEANexus for structural applications, or the combined CAENexus suite offering support for both solver types.
