Bill Chamberlin, thank you for adding so much value to the RISE and NSCA communities as a Growth Trailblazer in our last Rise Growth Lab. A special thank you to Mike Abernathy, Max Johnson, Thomas LeBlanc, and Laura Janssen for their help. The attached video clearly communicates why people development starts with the right culture by establishing solid core values. Thank you for the reminder! 💛 this advice: "Do your coworkers a favor and try to learn about leadership as a trade."
Last week was NSCA's inaugural XBO event. This was a fantastic experience to be a part of and the connections with both established and new leaders in the AV Industry is a tremendous resource. If you are a strong individual contributor and are getting into leadership don't go in blind. Do your coworkers a favor and try to learn about leadership as a trade. Go to events like XBO, analyze why you respect your favorite leaders, and reflect on your struggles to turn them into learning opportunities. I hope to convince my boss to let me go again next year. I'll see you all there.
