  • 🔔 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀: 1) Students who have tutoring 𝗱𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗱𝗮𝘆 are more likely to attend school. The effects were higher than for students who had tutoring as an afterschool program. 2) 𝗦𝗺𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝘂𝘁𝗼𝗿-𝘁𝗼-𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝘀 (𝟭:𝟭 𝗼𝗿 𝟭:𝟮) 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗳𝗶𝘁𝘀. When students were part of 1:3 or larger tutoring programs, the effects were not as strong. If tutoring were scheduled as a regular part of each school week, extremely absent students could gain an average 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗮𝗱𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗱𝗮𝘆𝘀 of attendance. Communities and schools nationwide are grappling with serious challenges related to youth attendance. While many school districts across the country have responded with diverse strategies, one approach stands out: #HighImpactTutoring. 💡 See the one-pager overview here: https://lnkd.in/e7ZC7Kpj ✍ See the full paper on how tutoring is impacting attendance here: https://lnkd.in/dxn7UjYe
