Presenting the National Winners of NTPC Electron Quiz 2025! Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta, showcasing exceptional analytical prowess, emerged as the Champion of Electron Quiz 2025, while Faculty of Management Studies - University of Delhi, with their sharp intellect and fierce determination, became the First Runner-up. Another team from Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta gave a close competition to secure the Second Runner-up position. The month-long quizzing carnival came to an end at the Grand Finale today at PMI, Noida. Over 700 teams participated in this annual event that took place across nine locations, celebrating NTPC's golden jubilee and the spirit of knowledge-sharing.  Shri Anil Kumar Jadli, Director (HR) congratulated all the participants for their remarkable display of competitive spirit and motivated them to channel this energy towards achieving their goals. The champions Piyush Kedia and Amartya Saha from IIM Calcutta took home a cash prize of Rs 50000, while the 1st runners-up comprising Ankita Shandilya and Shashank Tyagi from FMS, Delhi received Rs 30,000. The 2nd runners-up team comprising Komal Vasudeva and Aarya Arun from IIM Calcutta received Rs 20,000 cash prize. The event was also graced by senior dignitaries from NTPC, including Shri C Kumar, Executive Director (HR), Ms. Rachna Singh Bhal, Chief General Manager (Strategic HR & Talent Management and Head-PMI), Shri V Jayanarayanan, General Manager (HR), Shri KM Prashanth, General Manager (Corporate Communication) and Shri Gautam Bose, Quiz (Master & CEO), Greycells. As NTPC marks its golden jubilee, Electron Quiz continues to promote industry-academia collaboration and encourage students to showcase their analytical and problem-solving skills, reinforcing our commitment to knowledge development and future leadership. NTPC along with its subsidiary NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL) signed MoUs with the Govt. of Madhya Pradesh during the Global Investors Summit in Bhopal in the presence of Dr. Mohan Yadav, Hon’ble Chief Minister of MP and Shri Gurdeep Singh, CMD along with other senior officials of Govt of MP & NTPC. • The first MoU was signed between NGEL and Madhya Pradesh Power Generating Company Limited (MPPGCL) for setting up Renewable Energy projects up to 20 GW with an investment of Rs 1,20,000 Crore. • The second MoU was signed between NTPC Ltd. & Govt. of MP for other sustainable non-fossil fuel power plants with an investment of Rs 80,000 Crores.  • An agreement was also signed between Govt. of MP & NTPC, pertaining to an intent to invest Rs 4,000 Crores in setting up 800 MW of Pumped Hydro Storage Project in the state.
