About us

Dr. Jamie Lindsay and her husband Bryce Lindsay founded NuStart in 2012 with one simple goal – to develop an effective personal coaching program that would meet folks where they are and give them the support and guidance that empowers folks to get in tune with their body and gain confidence in their lifestyle choices. Through NuStart people learn how to apply the principles that matter the most in nutrition, sleep, exercise, and stress management. In 2014, Dr. Lindsay began developing some ideas on how she could take what she learned from her clinics in Wabash and Marion and apply it to the workplace. She attended a workshop at the University of Michigan hosted by Dr. Michael P. O’Donnell. The topics and content that many of the speakers presented that day gave her confidence in that we were on the right track with our methodology. In the 18 months following that workshop, she developed our approach to help organizations create a health-promoting culture, environment, and programming that would bring about sustainable change both for the organization and its employees. In 2016, NuStart launched our corporate wellness and school wellness services with great success. We have identified that organizations are much like people: there is not a one-size-fits-all solution, but there are certain principles that are the same. Whether you are an individual who wants to make the commitments necessary to take control of your well-being, or you represent an organization that wants to promote a workplace culture that supports employees’ desire to make healthy lifestyle choices we would appreciate the opportunity to work with you.
