I keep the lights on—literally. As a transmission operator, my job is to monitor and maintain the power grid in real time, ensuring stability and reliability every single moment. I’m constantly watching and adjusting transmission voltages to prevent outages, no matter the hour or weather. Every day, I’m proud to play a role in supporting the energy that keeps our homes, schools, and businesses powered and safe. #ThisIsWhatWeDo

I had the pleasure of attending the Builders Association of Northern Nevada's BANNer Awards Dinner alongside colleagues from NV Energy and some of their spouses. It was a wonderful evening celebrating the outstanding contributions of Northern Nevada's builders, developers, and industry professionals. Sharing the event with such talented and dedicated teammates made the night even more special. It’s inspiring to witness how collaboration and innovation continue to shape our community. Over the weekend, a vehicle hit an NV Energy pole, causing an outage for more than 3,000 customers late at around 1 am. ⚡️ Crews isolated the outage, bringing it down to 300 customers, while they worked on repairs. Full power was restored shortly around 11 a.m. after the incident. We’re grateful to our crews for their around the clock work to take care of customers!
