Driving Access, Equity, and Inclusion in the NY Tech Community

About us

Our mission at the NY Tech Alliance is to support the technology community and ecosystem in our hometown, with the goal of creating the most diverse, equitable, and accessible tech ecosystem in the world. We work every day to connect businesses, startups, entrepreneurs, organizations, educational institutions, government, and people from all parts of the New York City tech ecosystem to the resources and networks they need to grow, serve, and be successful. In January 2022, we announced that we have been acquired by Civic Hall, a company of The Fedcap Group. We are proud to work in New York City, a city of immigrants where over 600 languages are spoken every day. To this extent, we understand the importance of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion and seek to make the New York City tech ecosystem representative of the city it serves. The NY Tech Alliance was founded in 2016 and continues the work of its predecessor organizations: NY Tech Council and NY Tech Meetup. Our monthly NY Tech Meetup gives a platform to founders, startups, and companies to showcase their work to the community, with a particular focus on the technology itself and its potential use and implications. We also produce educational and social events centered on the tech ecosystem, as well as programming and advocacy efforts on issues valued by the tech community.
