Earlier this semester, the PB team got together for an incredible retreat to plan for the upcoming school year. We couldn’t be more excited about what’s in store! 🎉 At our fall retreat, our committee chairs, E-Board, and advisors brainstormed, strategized, and strengthened our goals for the 2024-2025 school year. With a handful of successful events already under our belts for the fall 2024 semester, we’re continuing to focus on creating meaningful experiences that bring value to the NYU community and foster collaboration, growth, and fun for everyone involved. Big thanks to our talented team for bringing their passion and creativity to the table. On April 11th, our Community Committee hosted a DIY Thrift & Exchange Night! Clothes were donated from members of the PB Community, and attendees were able to exchange and up-cycle their clothes at a DIY crafts station. The event was also sponsored by Guayakí Yerba Mate, who provided free drinks for attendees at the event! Organized by Community Committee Chairs Mya Ford Ryan Boron

On April 4th, our Arts Committe held a fashion show featuring the works of 7 student-designers, and presented by student-models! The show was hosted by the amazing Jan Sport, who appeared on RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars 6 and RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 12, and was sponsored by GT’s Synergy Raw Kombucha. On 3/28, PB's Lectures Committee hosted an event with The Onion, a renowned satirical digital publication! Led by Onion head writer Mike Gillis, attendees participated in a writers workshop where they learned and practiced the comedy concepts and writing techniques that have made the publication so successful. Organized by Lectures Committee Chairs Myles Spraggins and Meera Raju

On March 2nd, NYU Program Board’s Concerts Committee hosted our annual V100 Concert, in collaboration with NYU SGA. Hosted at Terminal 5, the concert featured co-headliners Kelela and JPEG Mafia, opener Isabella Lovestory, and student opener DJ Synchro! Andrea Cacho Poppy Smallman

On 2/22, Program Board’s Marketing committee hosted a release party in celebration of the release of our latest edition of PB Press, Program Board’s digital editorial publication! Ava Lee Isabella Benner This edition, which was produced by the Marketing x Media committees, celebrated the recent 50th anniversary of Program Board, honoring all of the amazing achievements and events that have been produced by our organization’s members over the past 50 years. Open to both current members and alumni of Program Board, attendees enjoyed free catered food, live music from one of our own members, and speeches from our current and former chairs! On Thursday 2/15/2024, our Film and Community committees collaborated to put together a Valentine's Day-themed movie night, where attendees made their own mug cakes and watched a screening of the movie "10 Things I Hate About You"!
