#Climateaction begins in schools, universities and classrooms. With buildings accounting for over one-third of the EU’s greenhouse gas emissions, it’s essential that today’s students are equipped to re-imagine urban spaces as climate-resilient and energy-efficient. The nZEBRA course is an exciting step in this direction, empowering students with #microcredentials and hands-on learning in #climateneutral #buildings. Aligned with the EU’s ambitious goal of decarbonising the built environment by 2050, our course will be tested in two European universities Halmstad University and Hamburg University of Technology. What does the EU energy policy mean to Europeans? 🔋 Europeans want the 🇪🇺 to lead the #EnergyTransition. 💡 The EU Energy policy can ensure more fair and affordable energy prices for consumers. 🌍 #ClimateNeutrality = more jobs and investments! 💸 But 36% of European haven’t made #energy upgrades at home 🏠 due to #financial barriers.
