Oilfield Helping Hands Houston finally had the opportunity to show a bit of appreciation to our volunteers last month. These selfless individuals dedicated their time and energy at OHH events in Houston the past couple of years all in the spirit of helping oilfield families in need. We celebrated both new and long-time repeat volunteers who put a lot of time, manual labor and sweat into helping each OHH Houston fundraising event go off smoothly and be a success. They selflessly serve and in turn we wanted to serve them back. Pictured here were the ones that could make the Volunteer Appreciation Breakfast, which is only about 20% of the actual number of volunteers. Thank you OHH Houston volunteers for all that you do! EmPrestiza Inc. does it again with another successful Oil & Gas Classic Houston Golf Tournament last month at Cypresswood Golf Club. They donated the $5,380 proceeds they raised on the hole where they had a fun, friendly competition for golfers to try and beat a pro from Backswing Girls. A few OHH volunteers also helped spread awareness on OHH’s mission at the tournament. These proceeds went to the Oilfield Helping Hands Houston chapter to directly help OHH Recipients in need!
