We are pleased to announce that our SAPPHIRE BBG-2110-4Ho/4Sio has been recognised in this year’s ‘Best of Show Awards’ at Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) 2025 in the AVTechnology category. This powerful mini converter addresses the need to display received baseband and JPEG-XS content on HDMI monitors in a simple and cost-effective way. Its compact size means that it can be mounted behind the monitor. The SAPPHIRE BBG-2110 line of IPMX-capable standalone mini-devices convert between IPMX compatible (and SMPTE ST 2110 compatible) signals and SDI/HDMI, with support for baseband video and JPEG-XS. The SAPPHIRE mini-converter line includes the single-channel BBG-2110-H/S, the dual-channel BBG-2110-2H, and the quad-channel BBG-2110-4H/4S.  At ISE, Cobalt was demonstrating an end-to-end low-latency fully compliant IPMX solution with HDMI devices using JPEG-XS compression to provide close to lossless quality with reasonable bit rates. The awards recognise the very best products and solutions on display at #ISE2025, with hundreds of products and solutions considered. All entries were reviewed by a panel of industry experts and editors. Factors taken into account include how diverse and comprehensive the product’s features are; how easy it is to use and how innovative and unique it is within the market. The Panasonic ET-MDNFB10 is a 12G-SDI Optical Interface Board designed for specific Panasonic projectors. It enables the long-distance transmission of high-definition signals via optical fiber. To utilize this board, compatible Small Form-Factor Pluggable (SFP) modules are required. Panasonic has conducted in-house testing to confirm the operability of certain SFP modules with the ET-MDNFB10. The 12G SDI SFP module is widely used in professional video and broadcast applications where high-bandwidth, reliable, and uncompressed signal transmission is required. OMC TECH12G-SDI dual channel optical fiber receiver perfectly converts from 2 optical signals to an SDI electrical signal at SMPTE 2082, SMPTE 424M, SMPTE 292M, SMPTE 259M, and DVB-ASI. This high-density design allows designers more flexibility in the product size. It supports a data rate of 11.88Gbps and handles pathological patterns. The package is a hot-pluggable SFP. Paired with an OMC TECH 12G-SDI optical fiber transmitter, it will receive error-free signals with a maximum distance of up to 10km at wavelengths 1260nm to 1620nm.
