The U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has awarded a Type Certificate to the Optimus-1EX system, which will simplify the process for obtaining operational approvals for flight operations over people and infrastructure. This certification confirms that the system meets the FAA's airworthiness and noise standards, allowing for safe operation within the National Airspace System (NAS) and expanding the range of possible operational scenarios for automated Uncrewed Aircraft (UAs).
