As we near the end of 2024, it is a perfect time to reflect on the incredible journey we have had this year and to express our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has contributed to the continued success of the one6G Association. This year has been nothing short of extraordinary. Our community has grown stronger and larger, with new members joining us from across the globe. Together, we have made significant strides in advancing the global 6G vision through the release of impactful publications, establishing meaningful collaborations with new partners, and yet another successful edition of the #one6GSummit, our flagship event that continues to set the stage for the crucial discussions on the future of wireless communication. The progress we have achieved would not have been possible without the unwavering commitment of our members, the strategic support of our partners, and the encouragement of the wider one6G community. Your dedication to pushing the boundaries of innovation inspires us every day and drives our mission forward. As we look to 2025, we remain steadfast in our commitment to supporting global 6G research, fostering collaboration, and promoting standardization-related activities. Together, we will continue shaping the future of mobile communication, addressing critical societal needs, and enabling transformative technologies that will redefine how we interact with the world around us. Did you know that IEEE #GLOBECOM 2024 features Women in Communications Engineering (WICE) Program? one6G is proud to participate in one of its sessions, namely Session 1: Women in Smart Communications, organized by Toktam Mahmoodi of King's College London and Lina Mohjazi of the University of Glasgow. This 1.5 h session will include technical talks delivered by female experts in smart #wireless #communication #networks, including one6G's Xueli An. The session will also host a #women #empowerment panel discussion titled “Women Shaping the Future of Connecting the Intelligent World,” where the panelist will discuss how to empower youth in network design and modeling and pave their way for #innovation under the moderation of Joyce B. Mwangama of the University of Cape Town. This event is not to be missed!
