PORT STRIKE NEWS UPDATE We are elated to hear the news that an agreement has been reached between the International Longshoremen's Association and the United States Maritime Alliance. This agreement successfully resolves the labor dispute that could have disrupted shipments for the second time in just three months. In a joint statement, both parties highlighted the significance of the agreement saying: "This agreement protects current ILA jobs and establishes a framework for implementing technologies that will create more jobs while modernizing East and Gulf Coast ports, making them safer and more efficient, and creating the capacity they need to keep our supply chains strong." Details of the agreement have not yet been disclosed. We are glad to see a resolution in place.
