As Members of Parliament debated the passing of a law to legalise assisted dying in the Commons today, sparking national conversation, we wanted to take a moment to resurface our own research into the topic. OnePoll’s Senior Research Executive Ross B. conducted a proactive survey into public attitude towards assisted dying, with the results being featured in print iterations of the Metro, Star & Express. Here’s a summary of what was uncovered: Our survey of 2,000 UK residents revealed 68% are in support for legalising assisted dying in the UK. Of those in support of euthanasia, 83% mostly consider the relief from unbearable suffering it would provide, while 71% believe it would give people the opportunity to preserve dignity in their final moments. The OnePoll team is always on hand to get to the heart of national opinion on the subject matter that spark’s debate and matters most.

A third of Brits admit the best thing about making a savvy purchase is bragging about the savings, according to our latest poll of 2,000 adults. Conducted in partnership with Smarts and Hive, our research sparked widespread national coverage, with features in top outlets like the Daily Mirror, Star, Express, MSN, and numerous regional publications. We found 49 per cent of those who shop around love to score savings on big-ticket items, like smart home tech, cars and designer gear. 👨👩 42% feel happy after a thrifty buy 🏛️ 61% enjoy saving money while helping the environment 💼 63% get the most satisfaction from scoring a deal on something they already planned to buy Commissioned by smart home brand, Hive, the research promotes their partnership with solar subscription provider Sunsave, to help homeowners save on their energy bills with solar energy.
