About us
The Open Reaction Database (ORD) is an open-access schema and infrastructure for structuring and sharing organic reaction data, including a centralized data repository. The ORD schema supports conventional and emerging technologies, from benchtop reactions to automated high-throughput experiments and flow chemistry. Our vision is that a consistent data representation and infrastructure to support data sharing will enable downstream applications that will greatly improve the state of the art with respect to computer-aided synthesis planning, reaction prediction, and other predictive chemistry tasks.

The latest addition to the ORD is a 39,000 HTE reaction dataset from Pfizer and Emma King-Smith. 👏👏👏 Thank you for sharing this very important dataset with the ORD user community.

Thanks to the 9th EuChemS Chemistry Congress (ECC9) organisers for the opportunity to present the Open Reaction Database today. Benjamin Deadman had some great discussions with the audience and it is great to see how much enthusiasm there is for open, structured reaction data. If you missed it, here are the slides.
