About us
LightLab, is a liquid chromatography-based portable cannabinoid analyzer, designed for non-technical users. LightLab measures 19 cannabinoids and semi-quantitative terpenes in 20+ sample types including plant material, concentrates and infused products. LightLab’s Hemp Compliance Module quantifies THC content down to .05%, over ten times lower than the federal threshold of 0.3%. Orange Photonics’ analytical instrumentation serves the needs of the cannabis industry, counting cultivators, extractors, departments of agriculture, law enforcement, universities, testing laboratories, infused products producers, and regulators among its customers.

Look what you did to my fingers, Cory Desloge! It's hard to finish rolling a joint when breaking up the weed leaves your fingers so dang sticky! It's a nice problem to have, and the Black Walnut flower from Harbor House Collective was pretty epic. I'm impressed because these guys wanted to better understand the testing of their weed. They invited Trevor Doehler of Good Times Broadcasting Group Inc and myself from the Institute of Cannabis Science to test a few strains of their weed using the LightLab3 from Orange Photonics, Inc.! The folks at Harbor House Collective wanted to be sure that their testing was accurate. They followed through with actions, letting us test samples from the production line. Trevor and I gave them a pretty good show, rocking two Lightlabs while chatting up several fine folks who stopped by to say hello. Thanks for hanging out, and for demonstrating commitments to honesty, a level playing field, and your consumers!
