  • Our Boss is set in 𝑺𝒕𝒐𝒏𝒆 💎    After a successful run as interim head coach leading the Black and Orange to the Western Conference Semifinal, Orange County SC has removed the interim tag and signed Danny Stone to a new contract as head coach. “We are delighted to name Danny our head coach, he came into a difficult situation last season and demonstrated tremendous leadership that helped propel the club to a Western Conference Semifinal,” OCSC President of Soccer Operations and General Manager Peter Nugent said. “He fully deserves the opportunity to lead this team forward and we are excited for the season ahead with Danny at the helm.” After taking over in August, Stone led Orange County SC to a 7-4-1 record, the best record in the league over that stretch. After an undefeated month of October, he was named the USL Championship Coach of the Month. His side secured the 6-seed in the Western Conference and made an appearance in the Western Conference Semifinals. “I’m incredibly pleased and very happy to have been given this opportunity, and I can’t wait to come back with the club next season,” Stone said. “I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my time here over the last three months of [last] season and I’m looking forward to continue building on that foundation that we began to create in the last 10-12 games last year. I’m very pleased and really excited to be working with the squad and of course to be back here at Championship Stadium in front of the fans and representing Orange County SC.” Welcome home, Coach Stone! To our U.K. audience, there's still time for you to join our Liverpool Lad and hop on board as an Owner of OCSC! Don't delay, this opportunity will only remain open for a limited time! 🔗 bit.ly/3UiQcD6

  • We were honored to participate in this year's California Highway Patrol's CHIPS for Kids Toy Drive, a wonderful holiday toy drive that has been helping bring Christmas cheer to kids in the Southern California area for over 30 years! 🎄 🧡   Our very own President of Business Operations Dan Rutstein and Gnarly, dressed in his holiday best, stopped by with some donations on behalf of the club! CHIPS and our friends at KCAL News will be at The Irvine Spectrum on Wednesday, December 18 collecting unwrapped gifts for kids and teens.   If you can't make it to that event, you can bring your donations to any CHP office or text the word "toys" to 76278 to donate. Thanks again to our friends at the California Highway Patrol and KCAL News for having us participate in this great cause!   #ForCounty 🍊

After a record year in every revenue category in 2024 at Orange County SC, we are expanding the team again. If you're interested in coming in to lead our corporate partnerships team, and help bring more partners to the OCSC community, I'd love to hear from you. With a ten-year stadium deal, soccer booming in this country and our club offering unique activation opportunities for partners, this is a great opportunity at a great time. If you're interested, get in touch. If this might be suitable for people in your network, feel free to share. Working not just in soccer, not just at the community-centric Orange County SC, not just at a time of extraordinary growth but also the role reports directly to me!

  • On Wednesday, October 30, Orange County SC held our second annual “𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐟𝐟 𝐯𝐬. 𝐒𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐨𝐫𝐬” Match at Championship Stadium, pitting some of our wonderful partners and sponsors against OCSC’s own in the ultimate battle for bragging rights on the pitch! 💼 ⚽   After the Starting XIs took the pitch with the Champions League Anthem blaring from the speakers of The Champ, the OCSC Staff jumped out to a 3-2 lead in the first half, thanks to two goals from Dekel Keinan and a goal from Irving Arvizu!   The sponsors fought back resiliently to take a 5-3 lead within minutes of the second-half whistle. The quick avalanche of goals from the sponsors prompted the return of goalkeeper (and President of Business Operations) Dan Rutstein from what was previously called a career-ending injury.   The match ended in a 6-6 tie when the center referee called full-time and the Staff vs. Sponsors Match was headed to a decisive penalty shootout, where the Sponsors claimed victory in the shootout 5-3, thanks to two great saves!   Our thanks to Taqueria Hoy! for providing dinner, and our other sponsors: Blue Star Group (BSG), Cityside Fiber, High Noon (Alastair Menzies) Martingale Cognac, Medequip, Modern Woodmen of America, the Noah Benardout Foundation (Marc Benardout), Omega Accounting Solutions, PATTERSON AUTO GROUP, PNC, and Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers!   We look forward to another great match next season and once again would like to thank all of our dedicated partners for all their hard work and collaboration throughout the 2024 season! #ForCounty 🍊

  • The 6-seed Orange County SC pulled off the upset over the 3-seed Memphis 901 FC at AutoZone Park in Memphis, TN in the Western Conference Quarterfinals of the United Soccer League (USL) Championship Playoffs, presented by Terminix, thanks to a 116th minute winner by our Taqueria Hoy! Man of the Match Dillon Powers. The victory not only moved the County Boys into the Western Conference Semifinals, it also extended their unbeaten run to nine straight matches! 🧡 Things nearly got off to a lightning-fast start for the Black and Orange in the 4th minute after midfielder Seth Casiple whipped in a corner kick that fell to forward Bryce Jamison near the top of the box. Jamison struck on the half volley and caught it sweeter than some Afters Ice Cream, beat the Memphis goalkeeper, but his effort rang off the outside of the right post and wide. Both teams remained scoreless coming out of the halftime break, but the match took a turn in the 79th minute when Memphis substitute Lucas Turci struck midfielder Chris Hegardt in the face away from the play, picking up his second yellow card and was chauffeured out of the match, we use our friends BEST-VIP Chauffeured Worldwide. It took the Black and Orange nearly two hours to find a winner, but nobody seemed to mind after a Cityside Fiber Corner Kick sequence begun by defender Owen Lambe. He played forward Cameron Dunbar in short, who turned and whipped in a cross to the top of the six-yard box that was 𝑷𝒐𝒘𝒆𝒓𝒆𝒅 home by defender Dillon Powers. Powers’ header was so powerful The Orange County Power Authority nearly qualified it as a source of renewable energy and the County Boys led 1-0 late in the match. The 6-seed Orange County SC now heads to the Rockies where 2-seed Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC awaits for the Western Conference Semifinals. Watch party information will be shared later this week, so stay tuned to our social channels for more information! #OurCountyOurTime 🍊
