We’re seeking our next Executive Director! 🌱 We are searching for a visionary leader to guide our journey in building environmental wealth and justice. Rooted in NE Portland’s vibrant Cully neighborhood, we are a BIPOC-led nonprofit redefining sustainability through community, equity, and creativity. Our next Executive Director will bring a justice-centered approach to leadership, building power and partnerships to drive lasting change for low-income and BIPOC communities. This role leads Verde’s 501(c)(3) and 501(c)(4) organizations, continuing the impactful legacy of Candace Avalos, who was recently elected to Portland City Council. Applicants can apply for grants up to $5,000 or up to $10,000 per organization to help their communities learn about energy & energy saving actions.
