Happy International Day of the Girl Child
Today, we celebrate International Day of the Girl Child. I'm excited to be part of the conversations around securing the future of Nigerian girls. We must protect every girl without discriminating based on differences. I am also impressed by the numerous contributions of private organisations, the government and NGOs towards ensuring every girl receives quality education. This year I wasn't just a participant, I volunteered with the Lola Cater for the Needy Foundation to spread the news about the organisation and find donors to sponsor the children at our IDP camps.
