For the Oscar de la Renta Spring 2025 Collection, Co-Creative Directors Laura Kim and Fernando Garcia draw inspiration from the timeless beauty of the rose. The rose motif is realized through hand-painted stems by Garcia, which adorns both day and evening wear.    The collection features stained glass embroideries, rosette-printed denim, and intricate floral crochets actualized on silhouettes ranging from asymmetric dresses to tailored separates. The color palette includes accents of tea rose, lemon, and mint, while metallic embroideries and sateen fabrics add a gilded touch. A Mod geometric circle motif is reimagined in vibrant, gradient patterns on modern silk twill sets and mini dresses. A novel mosaic sequin landscape embroidery enlivens a strapless column cocktail dress, highlighting the intricate artistry synonymous with Oscar de la Renta.   Discover the romance and elegance of the rose in Oscar de la Renta's latest collection: https://lnkd.in/eqHKqzy3

For Oscar de la Renta’s return to the runway, Co-Creative Directors Laura Kim and Fernando Garcia present Pre-Spring 2025, celebrating the prolific nature of the organic—a concept first evoked by Garcia’s own watercolor orchid paintings.    Rosehip, lapis and butter yellow enliven the neutral tones which ground the collection, while drop-shoulder silhouettes and relaxed tailoring elevate daywear with liberated sophistication. Orchid flowers manifest in a multitude of techniques. The hero ballet slipper orchid print introduces the group, making way for hand-threaded guipure and orchid-printed gold metal organza.   Snakeskin dances across silhouettes, both as a print and a mimetic embroidery while abstraction figures prominently, manifesting in bold tones and statement pieces. Beaded fringe embroidery appears across outerwear, dresses and separates, and a technical fringe fil coupé lends texture in persimmon, lapis, ivory and black. The house-championed stained glass embroidery technique is reimagined for the season in structural gowns that celebrate orchids and rosettes.

For the Oscar de la Renta Fall 2024 Collection, Co-Creative Directors Laura Kim and Fernando Garcia find inspiration in art nouveau architecture and glass designs.   Vibrant hues of ginger, olivine and berry complement the collection staple, cocoa. Bold prints such as the jaguar, ‘O’ chain-link and spider chrysanthemum artwork cover classic daywear styles. Sophisticated silhouettes reveal themselves in refined tailoring, corseted tea-length dresses and structured gowns—punctuated with organic hemlines. Novelty fabrics such as a cocoa and ginger ombré leather and a woven basketweave crepe showcase the collection’s innovative techniques.   Prominent art nouveau elements come to the fore in eveningwear—highlighted by the sinuous corded crystal cocktail dress, ornamental sapphire ombré crystal column gown, and individually dyed acrylic paillette embellished gowns inspired by stained glass décor.

The Oscar de la Renta Pre-Fall 2024 Collection showcases timeless elegance and impeccable craftsmanship—reimagining heritage concepts with innovative design. Co-Creative Directors Laura Kim and Fernando Garcia utilize novel prints, marbling techniques and abstract motifs to capture the modernity of the Oscar woman. Tailored suiting appears in pinstripe and plaid woven prints; a calendula marbleized brushstroke print manifests on structures silhouettes, and a floral doily motif is imagined on leather skirts and dresses with a laser-cut technique. The collection is embedded with poppies, carnations and ferns, which are actualized on a multitude of mediums. A crystal fern embellished strapless gown with illustrative lines which cascade down the skirt offers a new iteration of the motif made iconic by the house. Oscar de la Renta pre-fall 2024 embraces house identity through a refined and enriched lens. #odlrprefall2024
