Osceola County Emergency Management Director, Bill Litton, was recognized by the Osceola County School District last night for his exceptional partnership with our schools during emergencies. His leadership during Hurricane Milton was instrumental in managing the largest number of shelter guests and achieving the fastest demobilization, ensuring families could return home quickly and safely. Thank you Bill for your dedication to helping keep our community safe!

In 2010, Osceola County ranked near the bottom in Florida for high school graduates continuing on to #college. Today, we’re proud to see the Class of 2022 ranked 4th statewide! Thanks to the support of the Osceola County Board of County Commissioners, the Osceola Prosper initiative allows students to attend Valencia College or Osceola Technical College (oTECH) with no out-of-pocket costs, helping build a stronger, better-prepared workforce for our community. Through Osceola Prosper, students can:  🎓 Earn an Associate in Arts (A.A.) or Associate in Science (A.S.) degree at Valencia College 🎓 Complete a Valencia College Accelerated Skills Training or Technical Certificate program 🎓 Choose from a variety of programs at Osceola Technical College (oTECH) This program is opening doors to higher education and career training, making a significant impact on the future of #OsceolaCounty.
