We are glad to announce that John Kennedy, founder, investor, and education leader from North Carolina, has been awarded the prestigious O'Shaughnessy Fellowship! John will scale the Corsi-Rosenthal Foundation's Clean Air K12 initiative with this fellowship. This transformative project provides schools with the tools and support to build DIY air purifiers, also known as Corsi-Rosenthal Boxes, to improve classroom air quality. John will focus on the Greater Houston area, where he will implement the initiative district-wide for the first time. This initiative will directly impact the health and cognitive performance of students, particularly in schools with poorly ventilated classrooms. The Corsi-Rosenthal Box is an affordable, easy-to-assemble air purifier that costs just $60 and has been proven to be 99.4% effective in removing infectious aerosols after just one hour of use, according to U.S. Environmental Protection Agency testing. James O'Shaughnessy, our founder and CEO commented, "The Corsi-Rosenthal Box is a simple, affordable solution to classroom air quality problems.
