Check out this 100-year-old Otis elevator! 😮 It was recently removed from the Angell & Phelps Chocolate Factory in Daytona Beach, Florida which opened in 1900. The elevator was removed from a small room on the roof and despite the elevator being around saltwater air and frequent hurricanes, the unit is still in great condition and has a beautiful green color! We're adding 'award-winning' to the resume! Our modernization work at the Chongqing Metro Line 2 has won the Elevator World Project of the Year award in the Escalators, Modernization category. Over the course of 30 months, we modernized 119 elevators and escalators on this high-traffic line without disrupting passengers.
