Executive Spotlight: Kelly Candies, Project Manager Kelly Candies has been a dedicated member of Otto Candies, LLC, for over 29 years. He began his career in the traffic department and gained extensive experience working in the maintenance department, where he observed dry dockings, repairs, and new construction projects. Kelly also contributed to the company by working on insurance and contracts before transitioning to his current role as Property Manager, a position he has held for over a decade. A graduate of Nicholls State University with a degree in finance, Kelly also played baseball during his time at Nicholls. His passion for the company is rooted in his family’s involvement, and he finds great excitement in working alongside them. Caroline has been working for Otto Candies for 1.5 years as an Assistant Engineer and is currently working on the PEYTON. Hometown: Ridgewood, New Jersey What do you love most about your job? Everyone I work with has different backgrounds and different experiences in the industry. I love that I get to learn something new every day from the people I work with. I also love the 28-day on and 28-day off schedule, which allows me to travel during my time off. What do you enjoy doing when you’re not working? I try and make the most of my 28 days off. I travel to National Parks in the spring and summertime. In the winter, I try to travel to ski mountains as much as possible! Do you have a life quote or motto that you live by?
