WE HAVE MADE IT 👍 Today we are releasing MAN TruckScenes - world's first public data set for Autonomous Trucking. Autonomous Trucking will change the future of the logistics industry by eliminating costs, driver shortages and increasing safety. Therefore powerful automation systems are required. Especially the environment perception of an 16m long truck is literally a huge task! For the development and validation of these perception approaches, particularly AI-based ones, large data sets are required. With MAN TruckScenes, we are the first to give the community the opportunity to work with a large scale multimodal dataset for researching Autonomous Trucking solutions.
