In this article we travel through time, from 1761 to the near future. You will learn that there were over 340,000 patents granted the US last year, almost doubling the number in 2000. Innovation and inventions are demanding newer PCBs. Are you keeping up? https://hubs.ly/Q02ysbKg0

An excellent resource! We appreciate the excellent effort by Philip Stoten and the depth of information.
We've about published all the interviews we filmed at APEX and there's some great stuff in there. From EMS leaders including Nicole Hoekenga - Russo of Microboard, Chris Denney of Worthington Assembly, Otto Pukk of Incap, Teresa Huber of Intervala, LLC, Mukesh V. of Aimtron Corporation, Jay Patel of Amtech Electrocircuits, Bob Miller and michael (Mickey) mccallion of SMTC Corporation, and Allison Budvarson of Out of the Box Manufacturing, as they about key trends like #reshoring, #geopolitics and #talentshortages. #India get some real attention, as does #diversity, #automation and much more. EMSNOW Publisher Eric Miscoll pops up in a couple fo videos sharing his views on the show and industry trends, as well as sitting down with Dieter G. Weiss to preview their imminent tour of Tunisia's EMS factories. We get some time with IPC CEO John W Mitchell, and IPC Chief Economist Shawn DuBravac, PhD, CFA, the skinny on all things automotive from Indium Corporation's Brian OLeary, and even insight into PCB and EMS activism in Europe from Thomas Michels from ILFA GmbH and Franz Xaver Feiner from Zollner Elektronik AG. I know, it's a lot right! Well, take a look, or listen to the #podcasts at https://lnkd.in/g643FsPX and let me know if you have any comments and suggestions around who we should be talking to or questions we should be asking!

It was recently announced that until further notice Mornsun’s availability to supply product into the USA has been halted. We are not certain of the path forward for Mornsun support in the USA. DigiKey has pulled all Mornsun off their website and is not shipping product. As we understand it, Mornsun manufactures and private labels for other power supply manufacturers, so this could impact them as well. Please review the press release from the US State Department for all the information and knowledge that is known at this point. https://lnkd.in/gu7TYCrB

Check out the Surface Mount Technology Association (SMTA) monthly column in SMT007 Magazine. The April issue features an article entitled "A CM's Perspective on Box Build-build Practices and includes an interview with Allison Budvarson, COO of Out of the Box Manufacturing and Chris Denney, CTO of Worthington Assembly. In the ever-evolving landscape of electronic manufacturing, the box-build process stands out as a critical phase that bridges the gap between individual component manufacturing and the delivery of a fully functional electronic system. This intricate procedure, encompassing the assembly of everything from printed circuit boards (PCBs) to wire harnesses and mechanical enclosures, demands a high level of precision, efficiency, and innovation. As the electronic assembly industry continues to expand and diversify, understanding the best practices within box-build assembly has become paramount for manufacturers aiming to stay ahead in a competitive market. In this column, we will delve into the subject of box-build best practices within the electronic assembly space.
