Why is network segmentation so crucial for government agencies, and how does it support the Zero Trust model? Network segmentation acts like compartments on a ship—if one floods, the rest remain sealed, preventing disaster. Similarly, it isolates compromised areas of a network, stopping breaches from spreading and safeguarding critical government systems and data from potentially catastrophic consequences. This proactive approach helps government agencies mitigate risks and prevent devastating breaches. Learn More in our latest blog "The Importance of Network Segmentation in Achieving Zero Trust" today! https://hubs.la/Q02_7LNh0

According to U.S. Federal Government policy, Zero Trust is a required guideline for securing national security systems, but it is not a replacement for cross domain solutions (CDSs). "Zero Trust mechanisms do not remove requirements for cross domain solutions, especially when information sensitivity differences create excessive risk or when maturity levels vary widely." This is particularly applicable at the tactical edge, where warfighters must gather, transfer, and disseminate intelligence rapidly and react swiftly in environments which are exposed directly to adversarial threats and networks of varied security levels. Learn more about how CDSs reinforce Zero Trust principles at the tactical edge in our white paper: https://hubs.la/Q02-yyFz0

Technological change in warfare is constant, but AI represents a fundamental shift. AI isn’t merely a tool to improve efficiency; it’s a force capable of reshaping strategic advantage and accelerating the tempo of operations in ways previously unimaginable. This shift demands more than adaptation, it requires a rethinking of military power structures, command dynamics, and our approach to decision-making. It also requires a rethinking of cyber security and information control. A defense force that must be adequately reinforced and secured to prevent manipulation or destruction by advanced adversarial threats.
