About us

The Pan-African Mental Health Research Network is a cooperative project with the dual objectives of improving mental health research and enhancing the well-being of people on the African continent. With a common goal of tackling mental health issues and closing the treatment gap in Africa, this network brings together researchers, clinicians, policymakers, and other stakeholders. OBJECTIVE The Pan-African Mental Health Research Network's main goal is to enable and support top-tier mental health research in Africa. In order to enhance mental health outcomes for people and communities throughout the continent, the network seeks to produce knowledge that is supported by evidence, promote researcher cooperation, and guide policy and practice. Collaboration and networking: The network gives researchers and professionals from different fields a place to come together and exchange knowledge. Connecting people and organisations promote a community of practice, stimulates information sharing, and makes it easier to combine resources to address the gaps in mental health research.
